Chris is a bow hunter and hoped to take a ram with his bow. However this great ram was in a spot that just wasn’t doable with a bow. How do you pass a ram like this up? Boone & Crockett rams are not easy to come by. Chris made an excellent cross canyon shot with his rifle to take this Boone & Crockett ram in one of the prettiest spots in the Mojave Desert. It just doesn’t get much better than that. Thank you Chris for a memorable hunt.

Russ Renner (2014-2015)

Russ took this beautiful ram on the first day of his hunt. We found the rams and started the stalk first thing in the morning but with the rams moving several times, the wind changing and navigating around some wild burros it was an all-day adventure. It all paid off with Russ harvesting this excellent 172 B&C ram. We were able pack the ram out and get back to vehicles just as it got dark. Russ received the “Oldest Ram of the Year” award for this old desert ram. Great job Russ! Thank you for some wonderful memories.
